Q: Which car sounds better the 2005 Subaru wrx sti or 2007 Nissan 350z Nismo?
i really think the sti is more hotter sound in car?
what are you thoughts?
oooo and what is more reliable the sti or nismo for a 19 yr old planning to keep for 3-4 yrs
A: I would recommend the 350 then. It’s a V8
The larger the engine the more evenly balanced the the power is distributed.
Yes it has more parts, But the wear on the parts is more evenly distributed through out the engine.
And not focused on just a couple pistons to take the wear.
This is why most American full size work trucks have V8’s or larger engines.
Offshore crew and work boats usually run 12 and 16 cylinder engines.
They are made to be strong and dependable, handling the day to day work environment

A: Evos and STI are both crazy fast and crazy expensive. If i had to pick one, Id take the Subaru. AWD and 300hp leads to alot of fun…

A: If youre worried about turbo lag don’t buy a turbo car
Q: would this work in a 2009 Subaru wrx sti ?
First off i would like to see how other owners like this car. Second i was thinking about putting a high performance catted down pipe in, the Crawford performance gymkhana exhaust, and a cold air intake system. Now i was wondering would i have to get the engine re tuned if i put these parts in?
A: Don’t listen to the guy above. You absolutely need a tune on any WRX/STI after 04 with those mods. The intake is just a slight risk as it can alter your A/F ratio under some conditions enough to damage the motor. The down pipe is where things can be really bad. Mostly because of a risk of boost spiking. All it will take is one full throttle run and you can blow the motor. Tuning with these two mods will net you a whole lot of torque and a good amount of horse power. Somewhere in the range of 50 to 60 more. So spend the money and get tuned if you want to ad a down pipe. Don’t risk damaging a $35,000 car to save the $500 on tuning.
Q: will a concealable nitrous kit damage my 06 subaru wrx sti?
i have a magnaflow cat back and SPT short ram intake. i beleive its a 20 to 50 shot.
A: If you add a hefty shot of fuel at the same time then you’ll be ok. Otherwise lean kaboom. The sti engine is tough.
Q: whats the diffrence between the 2011 subaru wrx sti limited sedan and the 2011 wrx sti sedan?
im trying to dicide which to one to buy. but i wanna know the diffrences.
A: One is a hatchback
One is a standard STI
The Limited offers leather interior
They all have the same engine and drive train.
Q: What is the best year for a Subaru WRX (STI) and why? Anything to look for if buying used?
How do they compare to this years?
A: the 08-09 are better. wider tires, better suspension, dual acvs just to name a few. as far as a used sti goes, just cuz someone modded it out and raced it does not mean its junk. ive dragged my 04 sti, also put it on a circle dirt track, did a road course, and no problems with mine. if its been taken care of properly, its gonna last.
Q: What’s a better buy, a 2007 subaru wrx sti or a nissan 2007 g35 coupe? Both similar mileage and condition?
I’m looking to buy a used car… either the legendary sti or the american version of the skyline (v35)… the g35.
whats a better car, and whats a better buy?
A: Myself would prob go for the G35 the link below makes for a good read.

Q: I am getting a Subaru WRX STi. I have a couple of questions though. Which model is better, the 06 or 04?
I heard that the 04 is faster and lighter, but is there anything else? Other wise i could get the 04 and save 10k.
A: Get the 2004, its cheaper and has the same 300 horses. It’s also sligtly smaller, has less electronics and is a bit lighter. Save your money for repairs and upgrades. 500 whp is not unheard of on these cars. I’d go with a de-winged one myself.
Subaru is not being bought by toyota. They have a corporate alliance. Subi makes camrys in their indiana plant and they are sharing all wheel drive for hybrid technology. Expect to see some all wheel drive toyotas and hybrid subarus in the future.
Q: What problems for a 1997 Subaru Impreza WRX STi?
Im buying a 1997 Subaru Impreza WRX STi. done 130,000kms.
# Engine no: EJ20-879643
# Chassis: GC8-055055
What problems could cost me if I buy this car?
A: Engine and tranny are very strong on those and 81,000 miles is not that much at all on a Subaru but is needs to have been maintained properly so make sure you see proof of all maintenance. S far as what different things can cost you, it will depend on what you can find at the time. Subaru’s from about 94 on are like Lego’s. very interchangeable. A tranny from 94 to about 00 WRX will bolt right on. Should be fairly easy to find for pretty cheap if yours breaks. Engines are the same way. You may need re tuning but short blocks for 94 to current model WRX’s will bolt right in too so that should be easy to find. All in all, I wouldn’t be to worried. With low miles, that car should give you years of fun.
Q: Who likes the Subaru Impreza WRX Sti?
I really like this car an want to know how many people like it too. Just google: blue Subaru impreza wrx sti and tell me what you think.
A: i do
my fav is the 04 or 05, year, then the hatchback, last is 06 or 07
and this is coming from an evo owner
Q: Which should i get the 06 or 07 subaru wrx sti?
I mean aren’t they basically the same thing, same exterior and interior, but just a little tweaks in the engine that just add a little horsepower.
A: Actually, the only thing that changed power wise between 06 snd 07 is the government standard that they use to measure the power of the engine so the output is actually the same. Other than the chrome headlights and tail lights, the 07 also gets anew turbo (same flow so same power) with a revised waste gate port that fixes the boost creep issues that the previous models had. Another big difference is in the gearing. Basically, the 07 can make a 1/4 mile run in fourth gear but the 06 and back require a shift into fifth. Not a big deal if you are not into drag racing so if you can get an 06 for a much better deal, it may be the way to go.
Q: what do you think of the import Subaru forester wrx sti?
hi. there is a import you can get of the suaru forester wrx sti. it has all the body kit and despite being a SUV still goes from 0-60mph faster the the impreza. go on google images and search SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI and have a look at the pictures of the ones with all the spoilers and big wheels and air vents. write what you think of it
A: I work all over the UK, from Scotland to Portsmouth, and I see these kids with their powerful cars everyday (I work nights).
If the truth be told, they are either too old and should know better, or too young and need adult guidance.
Yep, another powerful car is just what we need.
Carry on the good work, fool.
