Q: Is there anyway I can listen to my ipod in my 06 Cadillac CTS?
I do not have an AUX button for the connection so is it even possible? I really hope so because i really miss my ipod. 
My car is XM satellite capable.
A: go to walmart and get a mp3 tape converter its a black tape with a wire that you plug into the mp3 players earphone jack its about 5 bucks
Q: On a Cadillac CTS – How do I reset Driver 1 and Driver 2 presets?
I need to reset the Driver presets for personalizing Driver 1 and Driver 2 and have no idea how. I have this vehicle on loan and everytime I get in it, it defaults to Driver 2’s presets and I need to change them so it defaults to my steering wheel and seat preferences.
A: Correct. Adjust everything. Presets, mirrors, seat, and steering wheel (depending on year of car). Then just press and hold 1 or 2, depending on which one you want. After 5 seconds, it will beep, and you’ll be all set. Also note that whichever key fob you used to unlock the car before doing this will also be programmed to those settings. So everytime you use that key fob, get in the car, and start it; all settings will adjust accordingly. (Again, depends on the year, but I think it’s 2005 and newer).
Q: Can the interior light color be changed to a different one in a Cadillac CTS?
Would like to change the “Amber” color to “Blue”. If this can be done, which companies sell the lighting?

A: Look in your owners manual to see what kind of bulb it is then do a search for that kind of bulb in blue.

A: The basic CTS runs about $41K. Consumer Reports lists nearly every Audi as a car to avoid.
Look at Infiniti or Lexus models if you want something in the $35K to $65K range that will turn heads and last a long time.
Q: have a 2007 cadillac cts my problem is with my remote it opens and locks the doors but is not starting my car?
i just got the car is there a switch or something that makes it work.
A: You must hit the lock button before holding the remote start button. Some vehicles require you to hit the lock button twice before it will start remotely.
Q: How do I stop the whistling noise when my moonroof is open on my Cadillac cts?
A: Check the gasket and look for cracks, rips or deformations. IF the gasket has any problems, replace it with an original replacement gasket. Check to see if a newer, updated gasket exists.
Check for a recall notice for that problem. You can call the dealer or look it up on Consumer Reports website.
IF nothing appears to be wrong, think about adding a wind deflector, like the kind for windows. There are deflectors made of sunroofs and moonroofs, so you shouldn’t have to adapt on to suit.

Please let me know the dealer’s names and what kind of $ amounts you got. I’m really thinking about leasing. Yahoo answers can really be a great help before I go to the dealers. I am aware that there are so many variables. I would just like to hear all the information.
A: Actually, lease rebates and residual values expired yesterday (Jan 2nd) and the new programs should be out Friday. I’ll keep you posted.
edit: The Programs stayed the same as last month, with the exception of the DTS loosing the Red Tag bonus cash.

Does anyone know when GM is releasing the 2010 CTS? I ordered mine about 4 or 6 weeks ago and I’m tired of waiting… I suspect it will be November sometime, but would appreciate a knowing definite release date.

A: On resale value: if the gas price keeps going up, those cars will not have good resale values.
Q: Replacing buttons/dials on display/radio in a 2007 Cadillac CTS?
I recently purchased a 2007 Cadillac CTS. It is in immaculte condition, however there is one minor thing that’s a little bit of an eyesore. The buttons/dial around the diplay/radio have chipped paint on them. This appears even worse at night as the lighting shows through the chipped areas. I’m wondering if it is possible to replace these? And also, if replacement would be covered under the warranty? Thanks!
A: You need to call your local cadillac dealers service department and check to see if this would be covered under warranty.I found no Technical Service Bulletins for 2007 CADILLAC CTS about this issue.Your dealer will advise what is the best course of action.Best of luck.
Q: where can I buy a 2005 cadillac cts headlight cover?
Not the headlights, I mean the actual clear cover for the lamps. I can’t find them.
A: The headlamp assembly is a sealed unit and has to be purchased as an entire assembly. There are various headlights available depending on the options fitted to the car. You can locate them through dealers, eBay, or salvage yards. The unit is also made as an aftermarket part. A link to the nationwide database salvage yards use is attached. Good luck.
Q: 2003 cadillac cts How long they last?
I was thinking about buying a used 03 caddy cts with about 90,000 miles on it. I was hoping someone would know how long the cts’ last and if there were any problems with them since this was the first year of the cts.
A: If the car was maintained it is a good investment I work for a GMC and Cadillac dealer and the cts is our biggest seller and they are very fuel efficent and the CADDYS ARE BUILT TO LAST AND TO A HIGHER STANDARD but if you do not maintain them (any car or truck) they will not last we have a customer that has a 04 CTS that has over 200,000 miles on it and it has all the origanal engine and trans in it.
Q: how do I add Horse Power to 2003 cadillac cts?
I’m going to be buying a 03 CTS this weekend and I want to know what I can put under the hood to give it some extra horse’s besides just cold air intake. Referrals to site would help but would greatly appreciate opinions on what I should add to the car.
I can’t seem to find a supercharger kit for the regular 3.2L CTS
A: one word: SUPERCHARGER! nothing works better at getting h.p. out of a car then that.
if you wanna go cheaper, get a cold air intake. they are like 100 bucks, but you will get like 10-20 more h.p. out of one.
