A: If it wasnt taken care of then dont buy it, it wont last too much longer….. does it smoke or use oil? check the oil level and see what it is at. If the car uses oil and smoke stay away from it. It will be just a headache.

i am planning to buy a new car next summer and i’ve been looking at the new 2010 chevy camaro. my question is, will the price go down at all by summer of 2010?
A: Maybe if one thing happens if the sales slow and they start to build up on dealer lots then yes they will start to offer discounts. We are selling ours for sticker we have sold 3 and have 2 more coming in. I expect to have more on order in a few weeks. Just be patient and they will come down. Just a note My mom loves hers.

A: don’t think so but have you tried going down to local junkyard and taking one off a car junk yard can tell you how far back or forward in years you can go to get what you need

Okay I found this 78 chevy camaro it runs alright it needs spark plugs carbrator head lights rear lights wendshield wipers all new interior and a simple paint job
A: Chad’s got a pretty good estimate. The plugs/wires/wipers and headlights are the cheap items – you’ll get them all for under a hundred bucks.
The carburetor is a different matter. If it still has its’ carb, you can assess it to see if it can be rebuilt. Rebuilding the carb isn’t that expensive (kits are between 20-50 bucks). You can also try to luck out with a carb on eBay – sometimes you’ll get good basic carbs there for 50-100 bucks depending.
As for the interior, it depends. Rear sail panels are tough to find, and good reproduction parts are a little expensive. For new seat cushions,covers, carpet, dash cover, door panels, miscellaneous hardware and such, I’d budget about 1500 or so, and do your best to locate the easier stuff on auction.
A “simple paint job” is up to you. A just-barely-adequate spray can be had for 500-600 bucks if you do some of the prep work, or you can look for a better looking, more durable job for around 1000-1200. A real sweet paint job, with attention to all the details is easily a lot more than that. All depending on where you live, of course.
Q: Changing a front blinker on 2002 chevy camaro?
Help, I’m trying to change the front blinker bulb on a 2002 chevy camaro. What do I need to do to gain access to the panel. I tried popping out the yellow plastic in front but it doesn’t come out easily. Do i have to take out the entire headlamp assembly to get to it. you would think this should be easier!!

A: My Mom and Dad own’s one. But we never changed the blinker yet. Anyways, They own a 1997 also. You have to get underneath the car and pull the wiring out. form the inside. Then change the light. Then you are good. Be careful you don’t ruin the wires. Don’t just pull and pull on them. See a way you can take them out. We have changed the one on the 1997 before. That’s how I know this. for a 1997 chevy camaro and am wondering if the 1997 and 1998 trunk layout and dimensions are the same. This a is custom box that holds 2 subwoofers and goes were the t-top racks are in the trunk. Again wnat to know if the 97 and 98 (which is mine 98) is the same layout and dimensions so I am not buying a sub box made for 97 and does not fit my 98 . Thanks

A: Chances are the electronic chip in your key is no longer working. When your ignition doesn’t match with your key (doesn’t read the correct code from the key) it will set off the alarm, prevent the fuel system from delivering fuel and cut-off the starter system. You would need a new key and a Chevy dealer. The dealer can read your old key and know which key to make for you using the correct chip. Then when the key and cylinder match up it will start.

You can use the t top trim from any T top 1982-1992 camaro or firebird. They are pretty much the same car and those parts you need will interchange
